V50 General : - V50 Mud Flaps for R-Design

Hi folks,
When I brought my V50 R-Design last summer, I was told by the dealership that Volvo did not make mud flaps for V50 with a body kit and so they can't be fitted to an R-Design. Does anyone know if Volvo or any 3rd party company has started producing them yet?

I can only add that unfortunately volvo still don't make them for cars with a bodykit.

I'm really surprised that Volvo have not addressed this... - thanks for confirming.
Perhaps someone on the forum has found some decent quality non standard mud flaps that look OK on V50 R-Design?

Found the same problem in Dorset/Somerset. However was informed by friendly Volvo Technicians that they believe mudflaps are now available?? Will investigate and advise.

I'd be interested if they have started making them as I'm really fed up with all the dirt that keeps getting kicked up down the sides of my V50 Sport with the bodykit fitted.

Some one on here did tell me once that it is possible to cut the standard mudflpas about to fit the bodykit but don't fancy doing it myself as it's bound to look tatty.

Hummmmm! Friendly Volvo Technicians were wrong according to friendly Volvo Spares Manager. Unfortunately there are no Volvo mudflaps for Volvo V50 Sport/R Design body kitted cars. Sorry to raise your hopes!!

If you look at the minimal clearances on front wheels & BODYWORK, this is why.
Put wheels on full lock and you'll see issue.

I too had a problem sourcing rear mud flaps. so I bought a cheap £5 pair and made some badges at work on the vinyl cutter using a type face print which is very close to Volvo's own. For the money they look and fit good. I had to shorten the length as they touched the speed bumps. Good luck, give it a go.
