Power fold mirrors - Keep dreaming Tony. You will only find these in the Japanese and maybe American market

Family pack headrests - Not that hard. WIth a little bit of patience you will find these

Volvo parking sensors - Have a set, but it is going on my car. QUite rare to get hold of

Dash mounted cup holder - Extremely rare

Electric passenger seat - Have you seen this one?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-V40-...item2ec750d92d The guy has removed the leather covers, but you can use your own ones. It will involve a bit of work and lots of patience

10 disc changer - They keep coming up all the time, so not so hard to get

Replacement drivers door in Virtual Blue - Colour code?

Not my find actually...... Another member here pointed it to me a couple of weeks ago.

Smile The List

Almost the same list as all of us in the quest for the ultimate top of the range!
I think you forgot genuine strut brace! Homemade or ebay unknown Chinese steel manufacturer is just not the same as that genuine volvo sticker! I'd always know in the back of my mind it wasnt right lol.

Power Fold Mirrors....Japan Only!!!!The amount of hours I have spent trying to use google translate to find japanese Volvo breakers that would have a set is silly(translation of power fold and electric is difficult). I've thought long and hard over it, I have even contemplated contacting the evil DVLA in wales to see if they had a list of imported S/V40's that have made it over here. But I bet it would be 'data protection' etc.... Getting a whole car from Japan was another option, but the fees do tend to kill any chance of remotely breaking even. I've emailed specialist Japanese 2'nd hand parts importers, but there only interested in L200's Evo's Impreza's etc... Be-friending someone from Japan must be next!

Electric Passenger Seat
I have only ever seen this on one car, and that was on the Volvo stand at the motor show at the NEC! I often wonder if they actually fitted them to any uk cars! In theory it should be easy to get hould of a LHD electric drivers seat from the continent, but the postage cost would be a bit! I've thought, coincidentaly as the cost of a litre of petrol goes up, weather the electric passenger seat is worth it considering its weight over a standard one.

I've already tracked down a 10 Disc changer and the family headrests, and thanks to Alex I was able to sort out heating my bottom on cold days. Skinning the seat is not difficult just time consuming and fiddley for my fat fingers!

Well I know someone who has a factory fitted passenger electric seat. He had it fitted as an extra from the factory. So they are out there

To be honest, i did forget about the strut brace till yesterday lol.
I will get a genuine one eventually, but making one will be a nice little project at work. I know it will be good, i have the skills and the facilities to do a proper job

I know what you mean about google translate.. somehow, things get lost in translation! I will find a set eventually, only had a few hours looking. I think i have a lead on a set from america, just in discussions with a contact over there to have them bought and shipped..along with a dash mounted cupholder

The weight of a standard seat compared to an electric one will be negligible in terms of it affecting the mpg. If i wanted good mpg, i wouldn't be in a T4 (25mpg). If it is a problem, i'll just go on a diet lol. If i can locate one on the continent, shipping is not an issue, i work for a global company, i'd just have it delivered to a "sister plant" in Europe and get them to stick it on the next shipment that comes over. My boss also goes to Europe quite often to see family and i reckon he may pick one up for me if needed

The changer and headrests will come up eventually, I don't even want to use the changer, i just want to splice into the lead so i can run an Ipod through my HU-1205. Need the changer in place to give out the M-Bus signal to the headunit to get it to work.

Hi Tony

Might sound a bit of a cheek, this, but I note you are after the CD changer but don't want to actually use it.

I replaced my CD changer because it was getting temperamental at selecting discs - much of the time it works just fine, and then it will have a session of refusing to find any of the discs in the cartridge.

Probably just dirty - I had the opportunity to replace it so I didn't investigate further.

Anyway, might you be interested in it for a reasonable sum? It would do what you want it to do, I think.

Obviously, I cannot provide you with the wires, as they're in use. The main connection should be in the car already though. Equally, I don't have the mounting bracket going spare either.

I'll take it, as long as it's the 10 disc version

PM me with a price and we'll sort it out
