Rear Off-side Central Locking & Electric Window not Working
Afternoon all.
I've had a search around, and read a few threads but not found an answer to my query - Apologies if this subject has been covered and it is my poor searching, but any thoughts would be gratefully accepted. So, I have have an issue with the rear off-side electric windows and central locking on my 2007 (new shape) XC70;they don’t work! I’ve; Checked the fuse Checked the connection in the door pillar Removed the battery for 30+ minutes in the hope of re-setting the unit Had the door card off and; Checked and repaired a couple of nicked wires Checked the switch (works on opposite door) Checked the door control module (works on opposite door) The door control module has a constant live feed to it which is right With a bit of fetelling the window will work from the rear door switch but not the drivers door; it’s hit & miss though and once door card is back on won’t work. I’ve checked the wiring coming out of the control module but it all looks good. The window definitely sound electrical to me but i'm lost where to look next, but its funny the Central locking stopped working at the same time, or is it just coincidence they both went at teh same time under two faults? Any thoughts would be much appreciated Thanks |

Terminal pins in the pillar connector are all good but i'm not sure I follow the comment re module in the door - Do you mean the connector where it connects to the motor, or is there another [control] module at this location? Thanks |

The door module is good - I've put it in the rear nearside door and everything works (save for the auto open/close windows by holding the buttons on the fob, although i'm sure that is a programming thing)
