http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-CONV...1%7C240%3A1318 On a general note, you will not experience problems come MOT time providing the beams are correctly adjusted (you must do this immediately after fitting them or risk a tug from the Rozzers) and the light tinge is not too blue (Go for 6000k or less).

heres those pics you asked me for enigma666:
yes the car needs a serious clean, been too busy to clean it for a while now. drivers side light is a bit awkward to get to, but it can be done without removing anything. hid ballasts are hid (-haha!) behind the indicators away from engine heat

Cheers mate, looks like you have more room than me under there.
I will have to take some pics tomorrow of mine and you can see what an absolute pig it is to do, battery out job for a start just for the passenger side (and I have smallish hands too!) |

Single self-tapper to hold each HID bracket, jobs a good'un. Rather than drilling the dustcap on each light to allow the cables in, drill the hole in the underside of the light and feed the cables up from beneath (plenty of room, trust me). There is a HID fitted to this light (honest, there really is!)....

Cheers mate, looks straight forward as hell on the C70 (although I was referring to my S40 for the bulb install )
No issues with the 35W over 55W or should I go for the 55W version to avoid any dash light issues? |

My bulb warning light has never come on for the headlights (it has for a brake bulb so I know it works) and I'm pretty sure mine are 35W ballasts.
