Early 240 dash top instrument binnacle on Tradera
Nothing to do with me, but thought I'd share in case anyone on here interested.
Seems to be a rare instrument pod that mounts on top of the dash of the early 240s. Seller states it mounts over where the dash-top speaker is fitted. I've only ever seen one in a brochure before, I think mounted to a 242 GT. Obviously do your own research before bidding. http://www.tradera.com/instrumentkap...2204_165131461 Kind regards Lucien |

The sneller status "nya dash" which would lead me to gelieve it's for the new dash. But the new dash was already equipped with possibillity to fit 5 Gauges!!!! Hmmmmm.....

Yep, it clips into the hole for the centre speaker on top of the dash, giving you up to 8 auxiliary gauges. super rare and I've wanted one for years.
I'd bid, but tradera won't allow me to register as I'm not scandinavian.

I tried last year, I got an email back saying I was denied registration because I was located outside scandinavia. Somebody told me that you could register outside scandinavia in the past, but now they don't allow outside registrations?

Hi Wooble, I registered about a year ago. I did have some problem with them not being able to verify my information. I'm in to vintage Husqvarna's too so Sweden is a useful stomping ground for me. I persevered.
Anyway the instrument bin sold for £330. It must be rarer than I thought! Kind regards Lucien |

Yes that's obvious. But the add said new dash so my querie was what the need would be to have in total 8 gauges in a 240 dash ie 3 of them on top. Thanks anyway for your concern.
Is Lucien showing the same top-dash fitted triple gauge box? |

Yep, that's the same one. The tradera one seemed to be missing the plastic faceplate

There is a place that makes them might be worth asking how much a group order would be if there was enough intrest
