partsforvolvosonline.com also have an engine mount like that, similar price (check correct fitting and postage) and operate from Wellingborough UK rather than Europe.

I take the Skandix supplied number and pump it into eBay. Then again, if you all did that, it'd never do - threads like this wouldn't exist.

Skandix are an outfit I've never found need to buy from. Which is kinda' sad because by rights they deserve to take my money. Instead they're usually used as a reliable 'part number finder'.

Sadly, whilst prices are usually pretty fair, delivery, or if you prefer to sound 'half-wit', then 'shipping' is a set cost.

A bargain if you're moving 4-5 items, yet for one, simply too much. Not sure why they don't look at this. When I last looked: light + small £4-5 items that'd go in an courier-envelope for £10-15; are stuck on at double that - plus the part price.

A £6ish item lands at £40 odd. Ouch.

The aluminium mount with the square bush is a direct upgraded replacement for the mount with the round bush. 20 min job to fit - job jobbed.

Default Top mount

It's 20 minutes if you can undo the bolts... a lot longer if penetrating oil is needed, and again, and again and still nothing undoes!

For the bolts into the head, try with the engine hot. I did mine cold and the olts were tight. but they all came out with no problem.

Default Nice picture but shouldn't there be a cover over air filter?

Isn't the whole point of the ducting being positioned to the nearside of the car next to the radiator sucking in cold air, to avoid hot air from the engine compartment being sucked in? Having the air filter exposed like this, and then the air being compressed by the turbo which makes it even hotter, and then have to be cooled by the intercooler, doesn't that make a bit of an own goal to maximise performance?

Cold air is denser and has more oxygen per cubic inch needed to burn fuel.

Well when it was dyno’d last it made 293hp.
Not bad for a 2.5LPT engine. Granted, it is a tad modified.
Since it’s not a track car and just my daily driver, a little Hot air sucking is fine by me. Plus if you look, the cold air inlet pipe flows in the shroud.
Oh, I have the do88 intercooler as well to help with extra heat soak.

I have replaced a lot of these mounts. I have never had to use anything other than a G-Clamp. They come with grease and with a bit of ply on each side can be clamped into place.

I have usually used;
