Default 2005 D5 163 hesitation at medium acceleration

Evening all,

D5 163 2005

I'm having a bit of trouble tracking down a slight miss/hesitation at medium acceleration, seems fine at light load and it clears at 2800 rpm and runs perfectly smooth again,

it starts on the button
I've done a leak back test on the injectors and all within tolerance
Cleaned the MAF
No codes stored

is it possible to have a bad injector spray pattern but only at partial load ?

Does the in tank pump help with fuel pressure at full throttle ie, over 2800 rpm ?

could the EGR cause it ?

any ideas anyone ?

TIA

Can be anything.... from a bad signal from the drive by wire pedal to vacuumloss on the vnt turbo , or some sensor

I had in the past some hickups with accelleration and delays which where caused by the accellerator.
Go to a breaker and ask if you can switch it/try a second hand one to check and if it solves the problem...buy it.

It also helps to have vida... then you can log some data when the hickups occur between demanded sensor values by the ecu and actual measured sensor values.
You can also calibrate a lot of sensors there.
