Sounds like a good plan
I'm hoping to get all my spare suspension parts into the shotblasting place next week.

Well worth having secondhand suspension parts blasted and powder coated. I did this when I did the suspension on my Scirocco. They looked like new afterwards and should be protected from rust for a bit.
I invested in a rechargeable electric impact wrench and a set of impact sockets before launching into my first suspension refurb. This was a decision I have never regretted. Saved a huge amount of faffing and an impact wrench is less likely to damage a seized fastening than brute force. |
