Volvo On Call App & Sensus Updates

Just thought I'd start a topic to note any changes we've seen if they update the Volvo mobile app or they update the Sensus system.

Just notice when they updated the VOC App tonight on my iPhone it now has a coloured banner at the top of the app to say the car is in standby mode.

Seems to go in standby super fast! Parked car 4hrs ago and its in standby mode!

They seem to have fixed the bug where it would just hang forever when trying to make changes to the Remote Climate settings.

Something's not right there. The coloured banner has always been there (on Android at least) but only after day 4 or 5 of non-use which is when the car should go into Standby mode.

When the car is in Standby you effectively lose all remote functionality.

The Android app was updated over the weekend but it was only to fix bugs and make minor improvements, none of which are obvious. My car wasn't used over the weekend and it's not showing as being in Standby mode this morning.

My VOC app on iOS updated yesterday, now on version 4.5.9. A journey completed at 08:49 this morning is showing as the last journey and the car isn't currently in standby mode.

Will check again before its used again as around 3:15.

The app does seem to get pretty regular updates on iOS, but mainly reported as minor bug fixes and I rarely notice anything has changed. Also worth noting is that most app updates are reported as bug fixes, the developers rarely provide comprehensive lists of anything that has changed.

I noticed the Standby banner appear briefly on first use of the Volvo On Call app after the latest update. It was there for less than a second then disappeared. The Standby banner hasn't appeared since and the app seems to be behaving itself.

This was using the iOS version of the app.

My banner is not there now strangely. But was showing quite a lot yesterday.
