For anyone else reading this, re-seating fuse 10 (20A at the top of the 2nd column of fuses) has just cured the issue of F-all radio receptoion on my HU-850 for me too.

It's definitely worth a shot before pulling the whole darn unit out again!

Default S60 2004 poor fm reception no sound whenplaying CD

I have looked at he amplifier under drivers seat everything seems ok, is the antennae in the bumper? it seems the issues i have are related to the antennae i have reception AM not brilliant but a lot better than FM.
One thread mention removing number 10 fuse (20AMP) Is this located in the board on the right hand side of the dashboard.

Default Fuse removal worked for me

Hi I removed the audio fuse (#10) from the drivers side panel and it did not work.

HOWEVER.... I took it out again and really pushed it back in, didn't test it and walked away. Now, I am having radio reception!!!

It worked for me (second time)
