Smartphone Integration - Retrofit to XC60

I tried to look for some information on this and couldn’t find any posts and hence a new thread.

I am considering having the smartphone integration retrofitted to my MY19 XC60. I read somewhere that a retrofit by dealer (opposed to factory fitted) doesn’t come with android auto and only comes with apple carplay and that too with no option of having a 2nd USB. Is this really the case? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Can both apple carPlay and andorid auto softwares be installed or just the apple carplay?

I cant confirm that this is the same for the XC60 but for the V90 you can have them fit either:

Apple Carplay - software only
SmartPhone Integration - inc Carplay and Android Auto plus an additional USB port

I had a quote of £350 for Smartphone Integration on a V90 in the last couple of weeks so thats an idea of the cost at least.

Any idea on the cost of these parts? Volvo website doesn't list any prices.

From what I gathered from this and other threads on this forum is the price people have been quoted is in the range of £300-£350.
