200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

just a quick update!!........... had a new clutch and rear seal and new front seal and cambelt fitted today, discovered that i now need a new crankshaft sensors and rocker gasket......still at least i now dont have an oil leak making a mess on the drive surely there cant be much more to do now...........

Ha, those bits I sold you look great... I am actually really regretting selling those lenses. They do look superb.

yes the bits look great and tidy the car up no end!! the tailgate looks fantastic. if youre in the area feel free to call in anytime and have a mooch through boxes of parts got the rear lenses on order but havent arrived yet

I've never really been keen on the clear/white indicator lenses idea, but, they do look well neat on your car in that photo. I think they suit the body colour very well. Nice job all round that car.

That is a VERY smart looking 240 you have there Matey

Deffinately got me thinking about a few mods to mine!!

The clear lenses are excellent IMO and when matched to a de-chromed front end it looks great.

That's the thing with these old buses, a few simple, well thought out mods are all that's required to bring them bang up to date.

Good work fella!

Now... Let's see if there's any lenses knocking about on ebay!!

Ah yes. I'd missed the de chroming. That plus those lenses is neat. Nice work.

I'm more of a keep my volvo shipshape person than a modifier, but I do like to see the cars that some people make so much effort to make look nice. Thanks for the pics.
