Default whats the best wet or powder coat

thinking of getting my alloys refurbed again. its been about 12 years and they weren't done properly the last time.

anyway a company near me specializing in refurbs, well that's what they say, said they wet paint them rather than powder coat as people who powder coat don't always get the temperature high enough. they use 7 coats and a slightly softer lacquer to help prevent stone chips. is this a better method?

If they get good results from it I would trust them.

Default powder coat

i prefer the wet paint.you cant prep for powder and will usually show up pitting etc.its also a pain to remove if you want to redo the wheels.

Powder is not alwasy as it cracked to be. More dependent on the qulaity of application. Can crumble from under itself. I've found mylsef sealing with paint over powder in the past.
