Well, got it done today, but due to reasons beyond my control, i can't test it till tomorrow evening!

I've got the capacitors inside the unit, a hole drilled in the back with a chassis mounted 3.5mm stereo jack socket at the rear next to the aerial

I'll test it tomorrow and report back with a guide if it works correctly
