Carpet wear under pedals
Hi looking for help, I have a 2016 Volvo S60 D4 Business edition manual, It has Volvo OEM mats.
In the drivers side foot well there is a slightly raised bump in the cars floor-pan the mats are designed to go around this bump (under brake and accelerator), This area is starting to wear has anybody any suggestions, I was wondering maybe some kind of self adhesive carpet tape. the wear is not bad but I can see it developing over time so would like to prevent it from getting any worse. |

Hi thanks for reply I dont see how replacing the mats will solve the problem, the same area of carpet will still be exposed.

The top right hand image is where my issue is, the mat is cut out across the top right hand corner, this area sits just below the pedals, that's where it is starting to wear, as of yet it is just light but left UN protected i can see it developing |

Sorry I misunderstood where the wear is taking place as the (Rubber) mats that I have reach to under the peddles. Perhaps it's worth seeing if a different spec of mat is available.
