northernblue Junior Member Last Online: Jun 21st, 2023 17:45 Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: northwich	Wastegate solenoid 0244 Been a while since I was here , went to the darkside of Nissan for a year. Bought a v70 d5 a few weeks ago 156000 miles , last week the wife said it had no power , scanned the codes and got this one 0244 . I had no trouble with it until earlier , I had removed the code simply to see if it returned. I got on the bypass near where I live and got to 70 but that`s where it stuck, It became like I was driving without a turbo, got home, then went out again and it feels fine again although the code is back. I rang a specialist in timperley and he`s already thinking that I need a new turbo , is this the case? Because the car came with 3 month warranty for major mechanical would I be covered?( the warranty is still live) I rang fast parts about a wastegate solenoid but didn`t really know what the part was. If anyone has a part number , much appreciated, cheers __________________ 2003 Volvo v70 d5 manual
