Default Radio / CD player for 1998 Mk1 V70

I'm looking for a radio CD player for my 98 V70 - grey trim.

I'd prefer a Volvo HU rather than aftermarket.

I'm located Glasgow, Scotland.

I thought 98 cars had the SC-802 or SC-805 series radios fitted

Ah! I meant HU as abbreviation for Head Unit. Not as in HU 605, although that unit might fit.

Yes, sc805 or 900 would be ideal, if working.

quite a few on E-bay, don't be put off by no security code as any dealer can get the code if you hand them the unit.

Thanks for the info Clan, I never knew they could do that. I know they can give you the number if the radio is original to the car

I have the SC-801 in my 850 and I fitted the Yatour YT-BTA to connect my iPod and phone through the radio

They dont look up the cars specific file, there is a central database they can access and need model, serial no, and radio type which is on the radio unit.
