Default Any specialists who deal with Volvo stereos these days?

Are there any specialist firms who repair head units etc around at the mo? I'm determined to get to the bottom of my problem. Apparently the maker of the 'Legend' replacement HU has come across this issue when the built in original HU was replaced with the 'Legend' HU it went away. Another guy (in Sweden I think) said he had the issue but it went away when he installed a Grom unit alongside his original HU. I'm thinking it MUST be possible to solve it, especially if it's not some freak issue specific to my Volvo.

Thanks

Try the following:

Check your grounds and shielding on the aux cabling all the way to the back of the head unit

Disconnect from head unit (remove pins) and test for any ground loops or poor connectivity

Reconnect, try terminating the aux input with a low resistance like 100 ohms, how does that compare

Tracing of audio input noise requires a lot of trial and error, as well as understanding of noise sources, to determine where it comes from.
It often helps to have a known good unit to compare with.

i did a lot of this when I was younger. Nothing beats spending hours in the vehicle with all the panels off trying different things.
