Cooling system flush
2003 - XC 70 D5 - Following a cooling system drain from the radiator drain valve, the inevitable happened and the drain valve broke. This is so easy to do, so my advice is - If you are going to use this valve to drain the system, make sure you have a spare drain valve at the ready.
But.....Volvo won't supply a drain valve....only a complete radiator!! A saviour is available...It is available in USA and Oz, so inevitably it is also available here, you just need to look hard or better still - try this: https://www.volvopartshop.com/radiat...26-22285-p.asp Part number 3547226 - and it is pretty much standard across the 'V' and 'S' 70 range.
