I had a courtesy car recently (V60 Momentum spec with 18" wheels) and I couldn't tell much difference with the ride. All in all, a V60 Inscription Plus with loads of extras is a fine car - ask to try a different V60 with smaller wheels and see if you notice a difference. Once I'd seen and driven mine, nothing could put me off buying it - even £180 per tyre!

OK, that's reassuring. I don't want a sports car ride but the Superb I have currently is a bit like a barge so I think it'll be good to have something a bit firmer.
They have an R Design which I am also driving, primarily as it is a T5 and I want to see what the petrol engine is like but I've just checked the listing and it appears to be on 18s so that will be a useful comparison of the smaller wheels.
Yep, I looked on blackcircles earlier. Ouch. How can so little rubber coat so much??
I suspect though, like you say, that I will be rather taken with it once I drive it.
