Default Passenger seat removal

As the passenger seat heater element has gone open circuit on my 440 I was going to remove the seat to get at it. It appears that the seat is held by two large Torx screws in the runners and the floor. I have tried everything to remove these without success. (Are they welded to the floor!) and I'm afraid of wrecking the heads. Why do they design cars where you need a garage full of tools? One set of socket spanners was sufficient for nearly everything on my old Beetle.

Anybody out there any ideas?

The torx bolt ends go right through the floor and get rusted solid. Best is to get under the car and de-rust the bolt ends from there with lots of penetrating oil and a wire brush.

there are 4 bolts, 2 at the front and 2 at the rear of the seat, size T50 torx. I used a long handled torx spanner and used a hollow jack handle as an extension bar to get more leverage. When it shifts a tiny bit, do it up again and keep going back and forth , they will shift eventually.
