Question What iso connector to install radio/cd in a 480 Turbo (1990)

Hi
Have recently aquired a nice 480 Turbo (1990, 37,000 miles) Took out the old radio cassette (VC 708) and found connectors everywhere. Bought an iso connector pc2-43-4 for 480 but nothing fits. Does anyone know what iso connector I need so that I can connect my new Kenwood radio/cd to my old wiring loom
cheers Dave

As far as I'm aware that should be the right adaptor for non-ISO 400-series stereos. At some point Volvo swapped over to normal ISO (my '93 480 has standard ISO connectors) with two blocks (one beige, one grey) that just plug straight in. If you really do just have a bunch of separate connections, maybe you'll just need to sort out what does what and connect it up to a bare-ended ISO lead. I did this in an '84 Polo a while back and it wasn't too difficult (I have no electronics experience).

If you need more help you might find it at http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/index.php

PS Good choice of car, by the way!
