Default Loose door hinge

I'm not sure how common a problem this is (I haven't found much via Google) but I noticed a new noise a few days ago which was a kind of metal clunking as I opened and closed the front drivers door.

I've been away from home so didn't have my tools but the hex screw holding the middle door hinge with I guess a dampener on was loose so the hinge plate was flapping backwards and forwards on the body of the car.

It's an easy fix of just tightening that one hex screw - I checked all the rest which seemed fine.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

I did do the machine polishing recently and I'm half wondering if maybe the vibrations and resonance from the polisher maybe broke it free and it's just been loosening from vibrations?

This part goes right back to 1992 on the 850 , they still use it and they still come loose now and again , just tighten it up well , they are robust apart from that .
