Default 18 inch alloy wheels for 850 ???

Hi everyone can you please help!!

I want to fit 18 inch alloy wheels to my Volvo 850.
Does anyone run 18s ?
Do you know where I can find sum that fit ?
I had a set of 18s on the car but they started to eat the front bumper and wheel arch splash guards 🤔🤔
They was 225/45/r18
So looking at 215/35/r18

Any help on this would be most appreciate

Thanks Andy

You'll rattle the teeth out of your head with 215/35.

Ride height and offset will affect your answer. I run (relatively comfortably) on 215/40 with BC BR coilovers and had to fit 5mm spacers in front to get them to stop rubbing, and 20mm on the rears (although you'd probably get away with less). The back left still catches on big bumps, but that's something the previous owner bent slightly, as the alignment is out (850s are non-adjustable). Also had to remove the arch liners.

225/40 caught quite badly, but the tyres (Contis that came on the wheels) had a pretty different sidewall to the Kumhos I ended up one, that could've been partly responsible.

18" Pegasus, I believe they were fitted to S60Rs. German replicas are available, although they're slightly different to OEM. OEM are very heavy, add a good bit to unsprung weight. I run them because I like the look, if I were to track it I'd refit my Titans.

I have ran 18s for years, 225/35/18

I have had them on numerous cars and they all rub in different places! ride height, steering lock spacers & spacers to slightly adjust the offset are the key
