Default Inlet Manifold

Hi Guys

I’m interested in buying a Volvo V70 Estate Diesel 2.0L around the 2010 to 2012 mark and read something about plastic inlet manifold problems ie melting or catching fire.

Anyone on this forum had any such problems and if so, what did they do to overcome it, other than sell the car that is.

Thanks to anyone who can help

You're in the wrong section of the forum for that age range

Hi Stuart

Thank you for letting me know, can you post a link of this site so I can tell the difference between the two.
I'm a silver suffer and get mixed up.

Thanks again for your help

no worries if you go back a level to 'technical topics' all of the different models and ages / chassis platforms are listed individually:

click here for that list https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=7

some are shared where they use the same platform such as this one which is P2 - S80 '98-'06 / S60 '00-'09 / V70 & XC70 '00-'07

the link I posted previously should be the right one for what you are after
