2005 Volvo XC70 stereo adapter.
When I bouht my car it had an after market stereo installed. I have a really nice touch screen Pioneer stereo that I want to install instead.
This is the standard plug in the car, can anyone advise what adapter I need for it please?

Can't see the picture but for my S60 I replaced the hu850 with a pioneer touchscreen and used this.
https://www.incarmusic.co.uk/volvo-c...r-stereos.html This covers both connection types so you probably could buy half the kit for less. The only other thing is an adaptor for the antenna. They are only a few quid on eBay. |

Sorry, pic must not be showing due to sharing/permission settings or something.
Please see attached pic. I know absolutely nothing about car stereos. Are these the standard wiring adapters or has someone altered it? I've looked online and I can't find an adapter that matches these. IMG_7956.JPG

Dunno what the black wire is but the two in the foreground are stock wires. The DIN is the amplifier and the square one is the radio.
You need to buy phono to amp wire and Volvo to iso lead

if its not a CD changer lead, and you only have one of those rectangular leads, then the black one is the dolby wiring harness (https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/auto...s-adaptor.html)
if this is the case you have a decent sound set up in the car! |
