Default Service plan

Evening all.

Ive had a post up recently as I'm currently test driving / considering a change to a 2019 V90 R design.
If I make the switch what kind of deal will be offered for a service plan and what should I be looking to pay for say a 4 year plan?
I assume there some negotiating to be had?

As far as I'm aware, Volvo service plans are set prices for 3, 4 or 5 year plans but I cant remember the price I was quoted for an XC60 one.
As the quote was back in May, they have probably changed a little anyway.
This thread will be of interest to me as I will be collecting my car in the very near future and am looking to get a service pack included. If there are negotiations to be had on the price of these packs, then I will be trying my luck during collection to get one at a good price. If there arn't I suppose I will be paying sticker price for it. Either way, they seemed to be pretty good deals compared to paying for each service separately.

When I bought my XC90 in 2016 I paid £500 for a 5 years service plan, which was a no brainer, the 3 year plan was £300, I think both have gone up to £600 and £400 respectively. But are still no brainer deals.
These were only available to private purchasers and lot lease cars.

Not bad, and certainly worth getting, as I assume minor /major service will be circa £250/£400 respectively?

Is the service due from when the car arrives in uk or from when first registered and collected from dealer?

If it’s a 12 month cycle and the car has been at the dealer for two months then it would potentially bring forward your service due date.

Just paid £599 for 5yr service plan on a new XC60. Services are every 12 months. Main dealer service includes 12mths Volvo breakdown recovery, so means we will be covered for 6yrs. Was a no-brainer for me. First service on my VW Tiguan cost almost £300 with no breakdown cover.

Mine was £500 for 5 services in March 2017. I did an armchair calculation and PAYG would have been around £1800. I thought long and hard before signing up
