Which aftermarket clutch? '97 V70 T5
After 215,000 miles on the original clutch (not bad going!) I believe my clutch could need changing within the next six months. It feels like it's slipping a bit and getting slightly harder to go into gear. Still perfectly driveable but I need to prepare for a replacement.
I wanted to know what aftermarket clutch people would recommend as there seems to be four I have found online ranging from £131-150. The main brands seem to be Sachs or Luk. I'm guessing I could maybe go to a Volvo parts centre and get an original, or would an aftermarket one be sufficient? Thanks |

In my book, the first port of call would be Simon (Ruf) at FRF Volvo, Swansea using discount code C3? He will give you a very good price for Volvo parts.
If you have to go aftermarket, then for me it would have to be LuK and LUK only. It's one of those jobs where you spend once on parts, and wisely. Hope this helps. |
