Default V70 D3 P1407 EGR fault code

My 2016 V70 D3 threw a warning code recently, which turned out to be P1407. I have the Torque app, which came up with this:

MID: $31 TID: $90
EGR Monitor Bank 1
Min 0% Max 80.011%
Current 100.006%

I discussed this with my local independent workshop, we both searched the web, and decided that it was more likely sensor failure than the actual valve. They changed the DPF sensor (I think this is the differential pressure one), but the fault returned the next day.

The most relevant thread I can find on the forum is:
Just had EGR fault P1407 D3 163
and this suggests changing the Boost Pressure sensor under the intercooler. This is said to be an easy job, but I cannot even find the intercooler! The thread refers to an S60 - is the V70 likely to be the same in this respect?
