Would you expect the maps to be updated and the Adblue topped off with a used car (a one year old V90)? Not sure if I'm just being picky.

Interesting question as neither are normal service items. However, I wouldn't expect maps to be updated but I would expect Adblue to be topped up.

Thanks. It's got to go back to the dealer in the new year anyway because the sport key is dead. Doesn't even work if you put it in the backup reader in the centre console so I don't know if it's even registered to the car.

I'm sure on my previous car that it was possible to view the number of registered keys in the driver profile page, but I'm damned if I can find it on this car. Maybe they took it out?

If they were done without asking then it would set the dealer above the norm. If they do it when requested then that would be standard practice.
If they shrug their shoulders then may be they are not the best dealership in town.
The maps are free to update and Adblue is cheap so if the rest of the deal is what you want then don't let it spoil the party.
