Which would be fine. See above.

Most sockets in UK domestic properties are on a 32amp ring main, so if you want to charge your car off the same circuit which also has your kettle, your oven and a fan heater on it then you might have an issue with overloading. If the socket just has a few phone chargers and a TV then there will be no issues.

This idea of specially wired is complete nonsense which we have debunked previously on this forum.
so what happens when someone in the house puts a load on that circuit you have the car charging on? Very dodgy . always get a dedicated line installed from the distribution box with its own fuse JUST for car charging... safety Must always comes first .

Exactly the same thing that would happen if someone switched on a kettle on the same circuit as they were also running a fan heater...... Probably nothing.

There is nothing special about the standard Volvo car charger. It is just a 10amp 2500 watt load, like any other high drain load, such as an oil filled radiator, a fan heater, a kettle, or even a small oven (many modern kitchens have the oven on a 13amp plug, not on a 32amp cooker circuit).

You shouldn't install a dedicated circuit for the car charger any more than you should install a dedicated circuit for a fan heater.......

If you want to say that someone should check the approximate load on their circuit and make sure that there is enough capacity to draw an extra 10amps, then fine, but please, stop saying you need a dedicated circuit. It is simply not true.

The T8 isn't capable of high speed charging, so I am not sure why you would be referring to high speed charging......
