Car not remembering radio settings.

I’ve just upgraded from a XC90 2016 inscription to a 2019 r design with a lot more toys. But I had CarPlay in both.

Weird behaviour in getting on the sensus. On the old one, I’d turn car on, it would come on with whatever radio station I left it on last time, usually on my favourites list which were all DAB. Then I’d plug phone in, CarPlay would start and go to my phone music, and if I wanted radio, I’d have to tap the radio button.

On the new one, every time I turn the car on, it defaults back to FM. CarPlay still behaves as normals. Is there some setting somewhere to make it remember the radio setting?

I bought the new car from my brother in law, he says that’s what it always did for him and he assumed standard behaviour, but it wasn’t on my old one.

Have you saved a profile with personal settings to a key fob, if not this could be the reason. Car may be set to guest profile.

Yep profile setup and saved to the key.

Mine does exactly this too, only after being previously connected to CarPlay
