Hi
New to the forum, can any body help with the following issues on my V70Mk 2 estate
1) Alarm system service required (No bothered about this)
2) Bulb failure position light (not bothered about this)
3) Emission system service required (No performance issues, but would like to clear this)
4) SRS airbag service urgent (this appeared after removal of rear seat back to fix fuel leak between filler neck and fuel tank (repaired) and I believe this is an MOT failure?

Located in Warrington,Cheshire

Any help or advice greatly appreciated

Hi Mike 63,

Unfortunately the SRS fault has to be cleared with someone with more than a basic "Android Torque App" and £5 ebay dongle
(Although that will clear the emmissions warning if there is no permanent fault.

Easily put right, if you were anywhere near me 5 mins should do it.

The emissions warning can be cleared with my basic OBD reader but doesn't tell me the fault code to tell me what the fault is so it just comes back.

I am going to Anglesey this weekend marshalling at Ty Croes circuit so will pass on Saturday morning if you have time and could help..

Even a basic reader should give a generic code, But if the code returns, then you have a proper permanent fault, that has to be rectified before it can be turned off.

I am just north of NYC, i have vida dice fully working
I can read and reset codes, I am about to learn how to program keys, need someone else to cut them.

I need to recoope my cost of software and hardware, $40 for read reset, 1hr or less of my time.
