Volvo 240 estate 2.0, Lowered
For sale-
1990 Volvo 240 estate 2.0 petrol -214,000 miles and still going strong, amazing engines! -Mot until 26th march 2016 -Fresh oil/filter/fuel filter/air filter etc -Brand new engine mounts 1000 miles ago -Brand new front brake caliper, brakes bleed, new front discs and pads 1000 miles ago -New radiator hoses and coolant flush RWD ideal to make into a drift car or boosted volvo project, or drive as a reliable cool daily. Drove it to Austria and back in april/may, didnt skip a beat. Some nice patina on the paintwork in places. Seats are very comfy, has all inside trim etc, spare wheel, has a towbar fitted. I'v removed the rear section of the exhaust so it isnt silent and pops nicely but i have the exhaust pieces and all hangers etc with me, so easy to put back on.. Not so good points.. -I'll be honest, the main bad point is the fact the car IS ON CUT SPRINGS, its a very very harsh bouncy ride and would ideally need new springs or coilovers made. -Sunroof leaks a teeny weeny bit in very heavy rain (hardly anything at all) -Drivers electric window can stick a little sometimes (always shuts and opens though) -Would benefit from the heater system hoses to be changed as one is temp repaired but has been fine for months, i have a set of silicone heater hoses to throw in just havent got round to fitting. -Could do with a new offside rear light cluster as its cracked (cheap as chips) -Bit of rust on one rear arch, A friend who's an mot tester said it would still pass an mot easily. -Radio wont work as it needs a code from volvo, displays EEE on headunit. Petty things really... Truely honest about the bad points above, i'd rather you know everything before turning up, than turning up and being let down and also wasting my time. Also, i ment it when i said it is a very very harsh ride and is on cut springs, just making sure you know before you message me. Located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. £1100 ONO |

Hello mate, I am very interested but can't get anywhere near the 1100 price. There are a good few for sale around this price with new shocks, springs and no rust.
I am in Bedford, so not too far away. What is the lowest you will take for it? |
