Volvo downloads

Hi.
Is there a problem with Volvo downloads at the moment, I want to download the latest map update but when I click on map downloads I am getting a message "oops somethings went wrong"

Yep, it's down (again).

If Carlsberg did IT solutions they'd be nothing like Volvo's.

Thank you for checking for me. I know its not my laptop now or webpage with a problem, just another Volvo IT problem.

Is it me or since they changed how My Volvo works the site has been useless!??

Its not you, it is useless, myvolvo and support download centre were very good before they messed them up.

There seems to be a pattern, like VOC scheduler, always seems to stop working around the end of the month for a day or so.

I reported this last week, just ogt this not very encouraging reply after chasing them up on twitter

I’m sorry you are receiving a message that something went wrong and we have reported this to our central Website Team. At this time we have no timescale but work is ongoing to resolve this and I will e-mail you again to confirm when the site is fixed.

So this implies that no-one at Volvo knew there was a problem? Really? Either very poor internal comms or a crap system (or both).

If they do undertake some scheduled IT work at the end of the month (or any other time) why not tell us in advance same as my bank does?

I had the same problem, but when I logged in and entered my car type it allowed me access to the downloads.

That gets me to a download page of sorts where none of the maps are labelled and none of them are Northern Europe!

All I get offered judging by the map are some African regions and India
