Just to update on this. I ordered at lunchtime on Tuesday and it arrived the following day. Packed perfectly and it looks like brand new.

Very efficient

Did the refurb. include the rigid return pipes. I had a pin hole leak in a return pipe on my rack a while ago. The rack itself was OK. Dealer stated the pipe in question was NLA. Seems there were about three different versions fitted to 940s. Further enquiries found firms prepared to refurbish the rack but would not supply the pipes. Local enquiries found a firm who would prepare pipes to match my originals. The length and bends of my pipes are super critical as if not exact and with shorter than standard unions the pipes foul the sub frame where the rack is located. It took three attempts to prepare two pipes that were satisfactory. Standard unions had to be shortened to a precise length. Even then, once the rack was installed some careful realigning of the pipework was necessary to ensure there was no fouling.

The first set of pipes fitted to my rack looked right until I tried to reinstall the rack on the car. I’d be interested to know if your rack fits into the subframe without any problems.

I will update when I get round to job Ian. It certainly looks fine and I'm fitting it into a new sub frame so I can trial fit in first
