  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

That's a decent little tip that. It's obviously worth doing even if you don't suspect you've got worn tappets eh?

I take it you can still do this on a standard car with a cat?

It doesn't affect anything? I've got the B6304S in my V90 so I'm assuming it's got hydraulic tappets?

Yes, no and yes in response to those three questions.

My other beast has a cat as did the Jeep Cherokee i also used this on - that had three tappets that sounded like pile drivers regardless of cold or hot.

Took them about 1000 miles before the ATF worked its magic then it was silent from start-up, much smoother, leak from valve cover gasket gone (it was a rubber gasket), livelier and more economical - i was getting 24mpg on LPG from a 4.0 auto Cherokee.
