I think its a standard fitment? Fold down drivers side rear seat, and its just under the cover in the boot. You can add a SIM if you wish.

I think it became standard only (in the S90) in MY2019 and onwards. XC90 had it standard all along.

from March 2016 press release (S/V90):

"...Volvo’s Sensus infotainment system is also standard. This brings a 9” touch screen, satellite navigation (including lifetime annual map updates), a sophisticated voice-control system, and access to the internet and a range of cloud-based apps such as TuneIn, Stitcher and Yelp...."

Looking up a pricing guide for the year will be more certain

A modem maybe a standard fit. However, the earlier S/V90’s didn’t come with ‘on call’ feature unless a ‘pro variant’ at the time. Therefore, the OP may not have access for a separate sim and may have to tether via their mobile.

The cloud based apps...I had them on my 2017 S90 , but they are not there on my 2020 V90. I used to use the weather and tune in app. I had no modem though, but they connected to the web via my iPhone when connected via Bluetooth (but never through appleplay)

When were they dropped? Or is this an omission that can be rectified?
