Something similar to this. Recommend always getting black color to eliminate the beige dash reflection on the windshield. I also placed an aluminum foil under it, so now I get zero heat from the dash even under hot summer sun. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Covercraft-...BEww:rk:9:pf:0

Just finished replacing the passenger front door window regulator guides. The window now operates considerably smoother than before. The old regulator guides literally disintegrated in my hand, so the job was perhaps overdue. Drivers side will follow this weekend all being well.

you can also get a anti vibe mount that fits to the bolt of the engine cross beam, Volvo only fitted them to some cars/dates but you can get them on ebay

Thumbs up

Not today, but very recently, replaced my tired old shocks and springs.
Fitted Meyle gas struts front and rear, with a set of Lesjofors -40mm springs.
Massive difference to the stance, comfort and much reduced body roll.

Also, had my silver 17" Orpheus alloys powder coated and lacquered in a dark gun metal grey metallic, then fitted a new set of Avon ZV7 tyres.

Changed the appearance of the car dramatically!

Additional wood trim accents to be fitted to the interior, as soon as I have my son's Corsa on the road! Just passed his test, so I have stripped out a 2006 SXI+, fixed all the loose/missing parts, upgraded others (reverse camera and parking sensors in a new rear bumper, new double din touch screen head unit, sat nav etc) and am just waiting for the last parts to arrive, to get it finished - full leather interior, new tyres and gloss black powder coated alloys.

Then I can get back on to my own upgrades again!

Gary

Changed another n/s headlight bulb.
It’s like a penance for a bad call, possibly in a past life.

Passed 240,000 miles this weekend, and got some new tyres put on. It's nice driving a car that doesn't feel like a 7.3 on the Richter scale.

Decided to keep the winter tires that came with the car but spent an hour popping about 200 metal studs out (the previous owner lived in a very harsh winter climate which warranted such things). Giant blister in middle of palm to show for it today. Nice tires though. Was worth it.
