Default V50 Electrical Problem

Hi, new to the forum so sorry to come straight in with an issue!
I've got a 2006 V50 2.0D Sport and for a few months now I've been having weird electrical issues that I'm hoping someone on here will be able to shed some light on.
So here's what's happening, at random times things like the electric windows or central locking won't work for a few minutes, whilst driving, warnings will pop up saying power steering, brakes, abs, airbags have failed, the rev counter will drop off, all of it at random times but the engine and brakes etc still operate fine.
I had a garage take a look at it a few weeks ago and they got an auto electrician to have a look through and he gave it a clean bill of health.
The problem is the problem is very intermittent so it's hard when you take what appears to be a serviceable car to a garage and ask them to find it what's wrong with it!
Anyone else had the same/similar issues?
Thanks for any help, advice.

Hi,

In the foot well on the passenger side, check the connector going to that broad white fuse and relay tray.
There are 2 pins holding the tray in place, release them then pull the tray out and check the connector going to it, clean it and re-seat it if needed.

Clown feet or, more commonly, a sloppy pollen filter job .. that connector can get loose when the pollen filter is changed.
