Default D5 engine for XC90 2003

Hi,
I'm looking for a d5 engine that will fit my 2003 XC90. If someone has one to sell great, if you can direct me to a breaker (pref Rep of Ireland/N. Ireland)that may have one then that would be helpful also.
thanks

If you change the engine make sure that the gearbox was made after the engine. ie don't fit an 04 engine to an 03 gearbox. An 04 gearbox on an 03 engine is OK though.

thanks for that Roy, my issue is a broken piston. I know v little about engines so don't know if getting it reconditioned is a good option. the car is with the recovery service who towed it from the side of the road and he has mentioned both, any thoughts?

If it's only a new piston that would probably be cheaper, but I'd get prices for both for comparison from your garage. There are plenty of D5's around so getting an engine shouldn't be too much of a problem.
