Hi Andrew
What year and model car do you have? Probably the difficult thing would be dealing with the airbag and the SRS system. HTH Steve

As Steve says, the year of manufacture of your car is important as the early 'phase 1' cars (upto '98) had a mechanical side impact sensor mounted on the seat frame, whereas the later cars had an electronic trigger.
This is an early example - The sensor is basically a big red panic switch that gets hit by the door in the event of a side impact. I'm not exactly sure how the later types work, but I *think* its like a G sensor that measures sideways acceleration. As all the original seats will have integral airbags, I think you may have an issue getting later seats to work with the originally fitted SRS system - unless you fool the system to disable the entire side impact detection system - which I would strongly advise against lol.

It's a 98 -99 V70R
I'm not overly concerned with SRS I'll get round that relatively easy I'm more concerned about what will fit
