Default New for Old !!!

I've just swopped my trusty 97 V70 SE 20V Auto for a 2001 version of the same spec car. First impressions are that they obviously look totally different (I prefer the new shape, personally) but also that they drive very differently also.

The newer car is lighter on the controls, does not sound so dramatic when under hard acceleration and the bigger, low profile tyres ensure surer cornering. The leather interior is a welcome upgrade as is the ECC and the cruise control, the 803 sounds are groovy and there's cupholders evrywhere.

Anybody else made the jump ? I'd appreciate any comments / advice on offer.

No from a V70 classic to a current 'V70'.

Nah! Too god damn ugly for me. I still prefer the old looks. The interiors are really nice, but those fat hips are a real turn off.....for me anyway. Give me a 98-99 V70R anyday :o)
Just hope their more reliable than the earlier S/V70 series in certain areas.
