Coolant Refilling
I have now treated myself to a 1993K 850 GLT 2.0 20V. I am going to change the thermostat. Since the coolant was changed recently I'll probably clamp the hoses at the thermostat and take them off. Does anyone know if there is a special procedure for refilling the system??????

RE: Coolant Refilling
Don't see how you're going to do it that way, the coolant will come out of the thermostat housing and soak everything including the alternator. Much better to drain the sufficient coolant using the drain **** on the radiator and put it back when you're done.
No special procedure but you may need a couple of heat/cool cycles to get it all back in. |
