Default Radio Code

Would the code for a standard radio fitted to a 1992 940 be available anywhere? After changing the battery the radio is asking for a code

It's 4 digits and is usually written down in a discreet place amongst the history paperwork that would have come with the car or maybe in the grey Maintenance hardbacked book usually kept in the glove compartment.

If you ask nicely Volvo can tell you from the number plate - unless the radio has been changed in which case you will need to pay a scally about 20 squid to retrieve it from the set.
