Because my tether was completely missing I think I was able to stick the tweezers in and grip the centre of the pegs. I'm not sure if you wouldn't be able to start pushing the peg out from the back? (can't remember if the back is visible).

The pegs just push out. I used a small nail with the point filed off as a punch. You will need the tweezers to hold the pegs when putting them back in.

Since changing the bottom intercooler pipe she's running well again and caught this as I was leaving for work.
Owned this car for just over 9 years and 80000odd miles now and what a car she's been.

Yes i soldered them you have to put a 12 v resistor between them i did it with every led so when one goes out you now exactly witch one is broke. I also took of the front of the radio and when you see the green printplate take the original lamps of or break em. Don't solder on the printplate because it want work that way. Just take the front of and you see the plexiglas here you put the leds in every original hole (make the holes a bit bigger) you wil see and then solder them together . When thats done you take some double electricity wire conect it with plus and minus wire on the led. Then pull the wire trough the back of the radio. Then conect it to some wires when you turn your key and the lights go on for instance above the radio in the dash i have a knob to read my outside temp etc. i conected it there. Its some work but its doable. I am gonna do the same for the rest of the lights in the car its very beatyfull. I hope you get the idea . The Link For The Leds Sorry for my english i am from belgium

So today I learn't that T4's don't swim.
Under the influences of man flu, I drove through what genuinely looked like a 2" deep puddle, only to find it was basically a big ditch. Laughing my ass off at my impressive situation and shamed of my own stupidity, having to call my father who I've spent many weekends going off-roading with and never ever got stuck, to tell him I'd got a Volvo stuck in a ditch....it wont be forgotten in a hurry. I had to get towed out by a 4X4 and miraculously there was no damage and the old girl still runs perfectly, boosting me home at full power. Last edited by Antz; Oct 21st, 2017 at 20:41. |
