A strange problem.... c70 T5
Ok
so I have a 2002 C70 T5 and she has been running poor for some time. It failed on me earlier this year and It was decided it was the ETM. Anyway here I am a few months later I have installed a contacless TPS in the ETM and thanks to that she runs and drives but she still has a rough hunting idle and feels lacking in power. Have changed the MAF twice (the car settles down when MAF unplugged) and have changed the Cam position sensor and the CVVT solenoid. But still no change. Just done the intake manifold gasket it the hope that it's was leaking but unfortunately still not fixed altho it is better. I can't think of anything else does anyone have ideas. Thanks Jerry T

MAP sensors on these break really commonly (on the ones ive had the pleasure of working on) and results in 'flat' acceleration and power. they live on the black boost pipe that feeds the ETM. swapped a fair few of these with good results
flat power could also be TCV related, have you not had any codes read? id recommend it as it will sure fire help you track your issues. its kinda pointless just throwing parts at it, especially as its ME7. Stubborn at the best of times. Dunc

To add to the above, I would want to ensure all boost and vac pipes are replaced and ideal to do when replacing the TCV/Boost Solenoid. These can cause issues that can't always be detected easily when the car is not under stress/load.
Outside of this you would be best getting the car hooked upto the Vida software to help fault find.

Ok I have had multiple codes but have cleared them after the work I have done and currently no new faults. I will go over any vac hose and just make sure. TCV has also been changed. I have reverse intercooler pipework and high flow inlet with filter on it so it's a but if a pain to know what is going on.
Anyways thanks I will report back when I get the chance to investigate.

I had this very same issue with mine and it turned out to be a timing issue it was out by one tooth it wouldn't idle and when I drove it was low on power you could literally look at the RPM gauge at idle and it would vary up and down by 200 RPM
