Default 1.8 petrol auto 2000 - Service items

Hi Folks,
I have an X reg s40 auto 1.8 with very low milage - about 19K and about to do an annual service ( I did have a V70 TDI 250K)
I changed the oil when I first got her - so have the slot on case to unbolt the oil filter - (~I tried with a variety of other tools first but it would not budge!)

Plan : oil, plugs, oil filter, air filter , fuel filter

Purchased : Petronas Engine Oil (Syntium 3000 E Engine Oil - 5W-40 - 6 litres - as its 5.4 in total

1) On fleabay there is a service kit going for £45 plus £3.95 delivery
'Genuine Volvo Service Kit S40/V40 Oil Air Fuel Filter's And Plugs 1.6 1.8 2.00
This is Non Turbo And Non GDI Genuine Volvo'

This seems very good value - I have used PFS for a lot of part before ( good customer service) - but there online price comes up at almost £100

Am I missing something obvious?

2) I think the spark plugs may be the originals - 17 years old ( as were the tyres!) Are they likely to need TLC on removal?

Are there any other unexpected bits I might need?

I think the cambelt may be original too - but this is probably beyond me - so will have to wait until I get a windfall.

Sorry to waffle on - only two questions really.

Thanks for any comments/tips

No, not at all.

The simple fact is that someone is selling genuine parts at a knock down price - it happens. Not sure how much it would cost from a dealer, but sometimes PFV are more expensive for genuine parts than a dealer. I have used them on many occasions and they do offer good customer service.

The only other filter I would change is the pollen filter in the aircon system. Also if the timing belt has not been changed I would do that soonest, even if you have to sell your body on a street corner to pay for it. If a timing belt goes you may as well say goodbye to the car. Auxiliary belt and tensioner will need doing at the same time.
