Hi I do not know this awning but I would be very carefull driving with a lump of materal [ of any sort ] attached to my van as the extra wind restance must be frightining. and could potentaly make your unit unstable , jmo With 45 years towing under my belt.
Regards

these were made to stay on the van in transit.they are one of the best idea,s for awnings that have been designed.i,ve used one for the last two seasons and only remove it in winter to store in my garage.i purchased the sides and front on ebay to make the full awning.works brilliant and i,ve tried all the other ones at one stage or another.mine is the fiamma 3.6m and can be erected in a matter of minutes.as regards stability there is no prob.

mind ow ya go,

peter.

Hi, I have one of these but I travel with it in my boot or caravan as I find its a bit bulky to be hanging from the rail. I had a Fiamma awning on a previous caravan that I left on all the time but it was much neater although it did put tiny dents in the side of the caravan over time.
It can be fitted in no time once you get to your site and stays drier off the caravan.
