Default V40 problem or 3

Hi, got a 2002 V40 with the odd problem. I think I blown a fuse for radio, so prob 1, I have stripped panel below steering wheel and can't see a fuse box, only a unit with relays on it. Plus the book says 'just reach up and unclip the lid '
Prob 2, fuse box in engine bay, how do you get that yellow plug with 3 fuses out ? Book says just pull, buy aint working for me !

Prob 3, I have removed the load back seat seperator and now can't get it to fit back in. Seems like the spring loaded top bar is 6" too short now. I can push it in, but cannot extend it any further so it will not fit into the catch holes anymore. What am I not doing right ?

I had an issue with mine where the radio didn't work and the clock and the trip mileage zero'd every time I turned the ignition off. It was a blown fuse in the little yellow holder in the engine bay fuse box. It is some time ago and from memory the yellow holder was stiff to pull up, but I'm sure that all it needed was a sharp tug. The holder comes up, but not all the way out, but once it is up the three small fuses can be pulled out. refitting is definitely pop fuses back in and push the yellow holder fully home. hth.
